Insert slides from files...

Hello.

When using the "Insert Slides From Files" feature of
PowerPoint 2002, I notice the following behavior:

When I click on the "Browse" button, it automatically
displays the contents of the "My Documents" folder on my
PC. This is a great feature if the file I want is located
in this particular folder. However, most of the time, I am
inserting slides from files located in a shared folder on
my network drive.

I frequently insert slides from more than one file located
in this shared network folder. The problem is that after I
have browsed to the network folder and displayed the first
file, when I click the "Browse" button again, I have to
browse through all of the same folders again in order to
get back to this shared network folder again so that I can
select the second file.

Is there any way to force PowerPoint to look in the folder
most recently accessed when clicking on the "Browse"
button?

Thanks!

Irritating, isn't it?

Short of writing an addin for this (we have one but it only works for
images, not Insert, Slide) your best bet is to create shortcuts to Where You
Want To Go Today inside the folder where Bill Wants You To Go Today And
Every Day. That puts you one click away from where you'd like to be. Not
too bad, really.
