insert multiple pictures all at once to a slideshow

I am trying to learn how to make a slideshow of pictures that were taken at a
shower. I have the pics on a cd but would like to do a slideshow presentation
of them. Is there any way to insert the pics all at once instead of one at a
time?

For PowerPoint 2002/XP and 2003,
To insert multiple pictures into a single slide,
click Insert > Picture > From file.
Select multiple files by holding down the Ctrl key.
Click Insert.

If you want to insert multiple pictures, one on each slide,
In PowerPoint 2002/XP and 2003,
you can make use of the Photo Album feature.
Click Insert > Picture > New Photo Album.
Then click File/Disk to select the picture.

If you are using PowerPoint 2000, you will need to use the free Photo Album
add-in to do so.
