insert button

since i have installed Vista i have been unable to use the insert button on
my keyboard, does anyone know why or how i can fix it so it is enabled again.
i have also noticed some other "glitches"...i am unable to print from
webpages to one of my two printers (i have not problem printing to both
printers from any other type of document), documents that use to print in
gray & black now only print in all black, and in Excel my arrow keys no
longer work to move from cell to cell i am having to use my mouse and click
on the cells. Anyone else experiencing these minor annoyances? any advice
out there on how to remedy any of this?

Hi, JMS.

WHICH keyboard? There are SO MANY variations out there!

Was the driver for your keyboard included on the Vista DVD? If not, you
probably will need to contact the keyboard maker to get the proper driver.
Or it may be a simple setting that you can adjust, but we can't see your
computer or keyboard, so all we can do is guess.

If you will mention the make and model of your keyboard, there's a good
chance that someone here will recognize it. Without knowing that, though,
we are just shooting in the dark. Also, be sure to mention which version of
Vista, especially whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit.

thanks for the quick response. actually just after i posted this i figured
out how to fix it. it was simple, i'm just still new at figuring out all the
changes in Vista and Office 07. I still haven't figured any of the other
things out yet but i'm sure with time i will.

thanks again!

I personally am not having this problem, and know of no others that are,
BUT, in the interest of the idea of these newsgroups, would you post what
you did to fix the problem?

This is so if anyone else runs into it, they can find the answer here, or,
one of us other readers/posters will have the answer if/when it ever comes
up again.

Thanks,
Mic
