Input to Powerpoint

Hi,

Hope someone can help, i want to do something like this:

click a button
show an input box
be able to type in "something"
then put the "something" onto the powerpoint slide

So i type in "Emma"

& then on the slide it says "Hello Emma"

i tried what i thought was the right code on a button but when i click,
nothing happens.

Please can you help!

Post your code so we can see if the problem lies in the code. You can

Click on "Examples by Chapter" and "Chapter 6." You can would be most
interested in Examples 6.6, 6.7, and 6.8.

That's great! Thanks!

I looked at your code & i had exactly the same, i tried your examples & the
same result....nothing!

I couldn't understand it until, i remembered the blinding obvious! My macros
setting was set to 'high'.... doh!!!

But at least your examples confirmed i was doing the right thing & then i
looked at the others & learned a lot more!
