I am having a real hair puller with my PC. I had some problems last night
which got to the point where I couldn't even get into my BIOS. After
resetting the cmos, I was able to enter setup and set my boot order. Booting
with my recovery CD I was able to get to the "repair" function and did a
startup repair. When my PC rebooted, however, it just went into an infinite
loop. I can't boot into any of the Safe Mode options (I can get to a cmd
prompt, however). So I thought I would try to boot into the recovery disc
again and try some other option, but now the repair option isn't there. It
just wants me to put in my product ID so it can reinstall Windows. What
gives? Does anybody know how to get out of the loop or get back to the
repair function?
Thanks.
