incredibly slow browsing on some sites

I have ADSL2+ and have always had very fast internet speeds however since
I've been on Vista, I found that on particular sites, it's extremely slow...?
Sometimes taking a few minutes to load something that would take 2 seconds.
I then check the same site on my laptop and my other computer (running os x
and xp), and it's very fast to load so it's definitely something up with
Vista. I've used Firefox AND IE on Vista but it's still painfully slow on
those same particular sites. Please help!

There are many, many things that can cause Vista
to be slower. 1st - it's Beta code with
debugging code in it. Then you have the filters
checking for Phishing and SPAM. So, it not a
clear cut & dried solution. You have to look at
your system and see what is going on.
