Incredibly intrusive and annoying Microsoft popups

I'm having trouble navigating sites like MSFN and the Elder Geek because of
Microsoft spam. Scrolling through a page on one of these sites is MS popup
hell. Worse than most crack and warez sites I have seen.

What is the point of providing a popup blocker in your lastest browser when
your the worst offender?

Well I get NO pop-ups at all. But I'm using Firefox on Kubuntu.....
