increase number of rings

I configured my computer to work as a remote desktop (I want to access it from home). I need to increase the number of rings before it answers. I have already changed my modem configuration to S0=4, using regedit, but my computer continues answering after 2 rings. What shall I do?

I don't have an exact answer for you but I believe the "wake on ring" option is set in the BIOS. Do a search on your BIOS and see if you have to go into the BIOS and set the number of rings there. I am going to shut my computer down and go into my BIOS now just to have a look. Good luck
