increase font size?

M

Martin Bishop

I have an extra computer at home that uses my television
as a monitor and is connected through the s-vga port on my
video card. The problem I have is that I've increased all
the font sizes of XP to make it more legible on the tv,
but all the menus when you save and open a document still
use a very small font that is barely legible.

I've searched everywhere but I can't find any way to
increase the size.

Martin--

I don't know if this will show on the TV hookup, but it will on an XP
machine and it works across *all MOS applications*, any version related
applications like One Note on an XP machine, including OE and its newsreader
and messages in groups like this one. This applies to web pages, Email, and
documents. I have not seen it have *any impact on the actual menus*
related to these applications however. It is applied or can be undone by
putting the checkmark in the box.

*To Adjust Web Page, Office Application or Document Font on the Fly:*

1) On the IE toolbar: Tool>Internet Options>Click Accessibility Button
(lower right of this dialogue box)>Put a tick in the 3rd box down "Ignore
font sizes specified on Web Pages".
2) Use your mouse scroll button and the Ctrl Key to adjust fonts larger or
smaller on a web page on the fly. The adjustment will "stick" or stay until
you scroll it up or down.
