Incorrect size showing on hard drive usage.

I have windows vista ultimate and I recently was required to use the system
restore using the installation disc to recover my computer to an earlier
state. It is now working properly. My query relates to what is now showing as
usage on the hard drive. It is showing the same amount of usage now as it was
before the system restore and yet quiet a few programs (Office 2007 is one of
them) are not there anymore as expected. Is there a utility I can run that
will clean up the hard drive so that it is again showing the correct amount
of usage.

I'm guessing that when you reinstall the programs you previously had you'll
still see the same amount of available space.

BTW What you described is not "System Restore", it's System Recovery".
