Incorrect Drive Designation

T

Tony

I recently upgraded to XP Home and after the install my
drive designations are screwed up.
I have 5 drives - A:(3 1/2 Floppy), C:(Local Disk),
D:(DVD Drive), E:(CD/RW Drive), F:(Removable Zip Disk)

After the upgrade I now show 6 drives with the following
designations - A:(3 1/2 Floppy), C:(Local Disk),
D:(AZBACK# 001), E:(Removable Disk)this drive dosen't
exist, F:(DVD Drive), G:(CD/RW Drive). The only 2 that
are correct are A & C.

How do I assign the correct drive designation to the
correct drive?

Thanks

Right click My Computer | Manage | Disk Management | right click on the drive you wish to change.
