Incompatible with Blackboard?

I'm taking a class using Blackboard. I can get into Blackboard, but when I
try to open the assignments page for my class my computer freezes and says
"Firefox has stopped working" This doesn't happen with Windows XP, just
Vista. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggested solutions?
