Including an Excel Report into the body of an email

I have to include an Excel Report into the body of an email. This is a daily
report with MTD results that grows in size as the month progresses. As a
result the daily email also grows in size as well. I am basically doing a
copy from Excel and paste into the body of the email. How can I include the
report in the email while keeping the email small? The email I did today is 1
MB which is too large. It should be not larger than 500 KB --

Thank you

PS. It can't be included as an attachment.

If you have removed all the unnecessary data already and you are still over
the 500KB, then you can't, as you'll be losing data otherwise.

Things to remove could be certain formatting. You might want to paste it
into an HTML editor and see if you can cleanup the formatting a bit before
sending.

Sending it as a zipped file would still be your best option as text based
documents compress quite well.
