Inadvertant Turning Off Of Video Driver

G

Guest

While rummaging through the Device Manager, I inadvertantly disabled the
video driver. Now I have no video after XP boots. There is video up until the
XP Splash screen, then the monitor goes blank. This happens even when I
attempt to boot into the Safe Mode.

How can I enable the video driver when all I have is a blank screen?

Can I reinstall XP over the existing installation without wiping out
important settings?

Would appreciate anyone's help. Good thing I have my laptop to fall back on.
