in outlook 2010 - how do I edit a message before I forward it?

Where is the 'Edit Message' command? I simply want to edit the message before
I forward it. There is no Edit command like I had in Outlook 2002 and 2003.

There's not one. You click 'Forward' first which creates a new message based
on the existing one in which you can add your own message. 'Forward' does
not cause the message to be sent.

There is an edit command - open the message, Actions button on the Message
tab, then Edit message. Save then forward as attachment. (If you forward
inline you don't need to edit it before forwarding.)

FWIW, the answer is the same as for Outlook 2007, so the answer can help
others who find this thread.

PS- won't you be happy when these groups are retired and everyone is
directed to the new forums?

Thank you for the advice, Diane.

I write this response because it still took me an eternity to find that EDIT button. It's not part of the Editing Section on the MESSAGE Ribbon, it is on the Move Section. That's logical - not.

So, we find the ACTIONS button nestled in the Move Section. We need to click the dropdown arrow to discover the "Edit Message" command.

Fortunately, it's then very easy to attach this command to the Quick Access Bar at the top.

I hope this helps the millions of other idiots like me coming from OFFICE XP or 2003 where editing was so simple.
