In merging from excel, fields are printing like "62.419999" when .

In merging a timesheet doc with data from excel using MS Pro Office 2003,
numbers on merged doc show as ( example: "42.9999999" where spreadsheet
contents are exactly "43.00".

MS Pro Off 2000 merges ok using same computer.

Any suggestions?

From your description, the contents are NOT exactly 43.00 -- you have set
the Excel format to display to two decimal places, but the underlying value
is obviously a full precision float.

Anyway, the answer depends on what you mean by 'merge' in this context. You
can either fix the Excel to convert the values to 'value as displayed', or
you can fix the merge to format to two decimal places.
