"=" in mailing list postings

I'm using Outlook 2002 under Windows XP. One of the mailing lists I
post to, I see my messages on the list with equals signs embedded - looks
like something to do with line wrapping.

The list admin told me my emails to him don't do that and we're not quite
sure what's going on - any ideas?

They are line breaks and it's a product of message encoding on the sender's
side.
