Improvements needed

A lot of the screens that pop up don't give the user
enough information about something to make an informed
descision. For instance, it will tell you something is
trying to add itsself, that it doesn't recognize what it
is and say that while it is not known spyware you may not
want to add it, but it will not tell you even what the
file name is or where it is located. If you
click 'Block', the message will come up every time you
log on until you allow it. On a computer I am working on
right now, every time I log into one of the accounts it
tells me that comet systems is trying to install itself
and asks whether I would like to allow this or remove
it. It gives me no information how it is being added or
what files are being added, nor does it remove whatever
file or setting is adding it every time. This leaves me
with 4 options. I can wipe down the system, I can spend
hours going through every file and the registry trying to
find it, I can tell the customer to hit 'Remove' every
time they log in or I can remove the Microsoft
Antispyware. If I had the information it was I would
have a reference point where to start looking, anyway.
Also, it really needs to tell me what is trying to add
itsslef when it doesn't know, at least the file name.
And if I click 'Block', make it not only never ask me
again, not only block it every time it tries, but do
something to stop it from trying again.

Microsoft AntiSpyware is still in the early stages (beta 1), it immediately
went into beta right after being purchased in December of 2004 and we have
been running it ever since with an update build since 501. Beta 2 should
make a positive impact on the usability of the product in areas such as
performance, reliability in detection and a better interface.
