"... doesn't get imported." Does that mean you can "see" the XML file, but
when you click the <Open> button, nothing happens? Or something happens,
but it isn't what you expected? Or you get an error?

Or maybe you don't even see the XML file?

Which version of Access are you working in?

Jeff,

The original file is in the HTML format. I use Stylus Studio 2006 XML for
converting the HTML file to XML file.
Then I import the XML file using Access 2003. When I import using Access
2003, I get a window for choosing the XML file and then click Ok. Then I get
another window with Import Options for the XML file. I could see the tree
stucture of the XML file. I select the topmost of the tree (here its tables)
and use the import option of Structure and Data. Then I click Ok, nothing
happens after this. I also tried using the import option of Append the data
to an existing table, still it doesn't work or I dont see a window asking
which table to append.

I hope I have given u the info to resolve my issue.
Thanks.
-Raj.

While I may not be able to help further (no experience in this specific
area), I believe you've done a great job of clarifying what is and is not
working, and in what environment.
