importing relantions tables

R

Rodolfo Fontes

Hi group,

I have 2 databases with the same tables, queries, reports.... everything.
The only difference is the table contents.
After a lot of problems on the servers, access lost some relations on the
table... I don't konw how it happened.
My question is....
How can i get back those relations? Since i have another database exactly
the same way.... Is there possible to import the relations?

Thanks,
Rodolfo Fontes

Assuming database A is your database that has the relationships set up
properly, and database B is the one that does not. You'd create a new
database (database C) and import the structure and relationships from
database A....then import the data from database B into database C. You
might encounter some issues with referential integrity when importing the
data from B into C...those will need to be addressed manually.

When you import a table, you have to option to choose to import the
relations for
that table.

"Relation" is a DAO object, and as such, can be listed, or put in a data
table for examination or export.
