Importing .pst to Contacts

Wendy

Outlook is not recognizing my contact.pst when I try to
import. I get the message that the file is not a
personal folder file, even though it has the .pst
extension. Any ideas?

Is the file on a CD or other read-only media? Have you tried running the
Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.EXE) against the .PST file in question? Where
did you get the .PST file from?

What program and version did you use to export it originally? Just because
it ends in ".pst", there's no guarantee it's actually a Personal Folders
file. It could have been exported as a Comma-Separated Value file but given
the file type ".pst".
