Importing outlook express email setting to windows mail . . .

C

Conor

Just bought a new laptop (notebook). How can I import my email account
settings from outlook express in (believe it or not) windows millenium on a
desktop to windows mail vista sp1 on my laptop.
Would I need a cable to connect both computers or it it possible to go
through the dsl modem, they are both connected to ?
After reading some of the posts about windows mail, I'm not that eager to
use it !!!
I do prefer outlook express even to outlook which I also have. Why do
microsoft pass by good solid programs like outlook express and not give you
the choice in windows vista.

Any ideas would be appreciated . . .

In OE go to Tools | Accounts and export the accounts.
Move the IAF files to your Vista Documents folder and use WinMail's Tools
Accounts to import from the IAF files.
