importing more than one vcard in Outlook2003

When I import a vcard file (.vcf) into Outlook 2003 it only imports the
first record out of the many records. Is there an easy way to import all
of the records in the vcard file?

Export, yes. Import, no.

Thanks. Seems odd that Microsoft wouldn't allow contacts to be
imported from a vcf file, doesn't it? Is this a security issue? Every other
contact manager I know of does. And some address books only export
to vcf format (example Apple Address Book). I wonder why Microsoft
placed this restrictionon their import capability?

I don't think it's an intentional restriction, just a feature that never got high enough on the list to be implemented. Send your suggestions to (e-mail address removed)

Thanks Sue. I took your advice and sent the following email to mswish:
Please add this feature to your next version of Outlook: Allow importing
of a .vcf file (VCARD) that contains more than a single record. Currently
only single contacts can be imported via VCARD import. I want to
import my entire address book. Thanks.

Importing mutiple Vcards into outlook 2003 does work if you do a simple
drag from an open folder and drop on to the contacts tab in outlook
2003.

The only problem I had is that it only wanted to drag and drop 20/30
vcards at a time anything larger gave an error.

I'm not sure if this works with earlier versions of outlook.
