Importing from several files daily what's the best way

Our business has an inventory management set up in access but we have run
into a problem with multiple warehouses and keeping up with the info. On a
daily basis we receive a .tab file and several .csv files. I am looking
for the best way in access to keep our inventory management accurate. Our
information thus far has not been hard to handle but any more will bury us.
Please advise as to the best way with large downloads of 15000 products how
to change quanity as well as adding new records. Is it better to import
daily or create a link and then best way to sort data. Please help.

Are all locations using the same database and exporting the changes and new
entries to a csv? If this is the case then the easiest solution would be to
create a replicated database and get everyone's data into the master copy.
Then take the master and place a copy at the different locales. This would
allow the users to access a local copy and ease the wait time for data. You
could then periodically either do a direct or indirect synchronization. I
highly recommend indirect synchronization as the database can be corrupted if
connection is lost during a direct synchronization. For more info goto help
and type replication.
To perform an indirect synchronization you will have to purchase a copy of
MS Office Developer, however, it will save you the headaches of importing and
matching then updating all of your data.
