importing file containing multiple vCards into outlook 2000

i am trying to shadow my PalmOS Desktop address list onto
an Outlook 2000 system. Palm Desktop will export in
vCard format, which i thought would be great. and it
exports into a single file containing multiple vCard
records as prescribed by the standard.

the only problem is that Outlook 2000 only looks at
the first record in the file and ignores the rest.

is there a way to make it read the entire lot, or
is there a helper app around that will parse the
multi-vcard file and then insert them into the
Outlook address book one at a time through the API???

yes, there are many hundreds of records and the
CSV format is not remotely viable

There is no tool available for this for Outlook, unfortunately. The only multi-vCard splitter application that I've found is for Macintosh only.
