Importing/Exporting old files

I have changed hard drives, but still have my old drive connected as "slave".
There are numerous contact (PAB) and email (PST) files that I want to have
in my new Outlook set up. I am using Win 2K and Outlook 2000. I have tried
importing, but have had no luck. What should I do?

Why import unless you want to lose data? Simply open the .pst file in Outlook - File->Open->Personal Folders File.

If you need your PABs (although Outlook hasn't used them in years), you can
import them. The proscription against importing data files doesn't exist
for PABs. File>Import and Export>Import from aother program or
file>Personal Address Book

Milly you are the BEST!! Thank you. Sorry I took so long to reply, had a
problem with IE that would not let me read any postings, but finally got it
fixed. Your instruction even brought in my old address book data. Thank you
again.
