Importing csv files

I have a method for the simple job of importing a csv file, however on
occassion one column starts with numeric values and other times alphanumeric
data

It there a way to force Access to see all columns as text values as a pose
to it choosing dependent on the first value it reads ??

Manually it is not a problem, though Im looking to automate this process
with a button on a form ??

Any help greatfully apprecciated

go through the Import Wizard manually the first time, and save the settings
as an Import Specification. import to a new table, which Access should
create to match the data type settings you chose for each field in the
Import Wizard. for subsequent automated imports, use the Import
Specification you saved previously, and import to the same table.
