importing calendar from excel into outlook 2003

Named the range, mapped the fields - it worked yesterday. Today, updated new
info in same file with new clients and dates to add to calendar and it goes
through all the steps, and appears to finish, but items are not visible.
Secondarily, would really like to be able to import directly to a shared
calendar but I get an error. I have been importing to my calendar and then
dragging over to shared calendar. Help!

Sounds like you did not change the named range to encompass the new data.

The original file contained 15 rows of clients with their appointments, with
those rows within the named range. The next day, we paste over that file with
15 new rows of clients and their appointments (we do not add to it). Does
the range need to be renamed each time?

Also, any ideas on the second part of my question? 5 appointment setters
can view and add inidividual appointments into a 6th employee's shared
calendar; is it possible for the 5 to import directly to the shared calendar?
Currently they are importing to their own calendar and then dragging over -
time consuming, yes, but still less than entering each appointment
individually into the shared calendar.

Thanks!

As far as I know, if your new data is in the same range as the old data, I
would expect it to work, but I haven't tested it. Try recreating the range.

As far as I know, you cannot import directly into a shared folder, but If I'm
wrong, I'm sure someone who uses shared folders will speak up. I don't use
shared folders.
