import to another version of my app

I have made a version 5 of my application. when I when I append the data
added while I have been working on the new version, nothing works with the
new data. Improvements in appending occurred when I deleted some of my data
input masks. Still while I append the newly added information some features
do not work. Is there a more standard way of updating information in a new
version (this is the same 2000 version of Access, tables are identical
although there is a new table and a few new queries).

I'm having trouble figuring out what is/isn't working, based on your
description. For example, does your new version work correctly with test
data, but fail ONLY after importing data from the previous version?

What you mean by "appending" and I mean may not match Are you using an
append query, or are you importing the tables?

You have not provided any error messages or a description of how it fails,
beyond "nothing works". Does that mean the .mdb doesn't even open?

Did it ever work, in test, or did you "load it up" and "fire it up", and
found it didn't work?

This was an append query and this was a key violation. Test data work fine
but when I paste append I have other problems.
