Import Text Files

I'm having some problems importing text files into my
Access 2002 database. When I select Import and select
Import text file, I get a message that says Microsoft
Access has encounted a problem and has to close. Here I
have the option of sending an error report to Microsoft or
debug.

At this point not sure what to do other than reinstall
Access. But before I do, does anyone have an alternate
idea????

Something is definitely broken.

Any old versions of Access?
They need to be installed in hostorical sequence and in different folders.

Access 2002 is the only version I have installed. So I
guess I'll uninstall and reinstall.
