Import Text Wizard returns message - The Microsoft Jet database engine could
not find the object ". Make sure the object exists and that you spell its
name and the path name correctly.

This is a blank database, so how can there be an object "?

Not sure what could be causing this. Things to try:

1) Can you import other textfiles? if so, it's something different about
this one.

2) make sure the textfile has a conventional .txt or .csv extension

3) try moving and/or renaming the file so the total length of the path
and filename is 64 characters or less.

I can import other text files. I renamed this, updated Msjet40.dll, and
tried to import the text file again, using an import specification. I got
the same error message. I just checked and found that Msjet40.dll version
4.0.9025.0 did not delete the previous version 4.0.8618.0. Could this be
contributing to the problem?
