Import Specs xls. Access 2003

For years I have saved import specs when importing xls files. In Access 2003,
there no longer seems to be an advanced button when importing a spreadsheet.
I can't believe that it has gone away and I have found nothing in the
knowledge base to get a sense of what I am missing.

Any ideas?? Thanks!

I think you are confused.
Spreadsheets do not have import specs.
Text files do.

A .csv file can be treated like a text file and like an Excel file.
Maybe that is what you were thinking about?

You are absolutely roight, I have always done .csv files in the past.
