Import Specifications

Many times I have made an application where I have had to import text files
into Access. Occationally databases corrupt. Sometimes they give you a little
warning by not acting right before you finish building them. My question is
when importing database tables from one application to another I would think
you could import a import specification in a similar mannor? How can you copy
an import specification to another database?
Thanks,

Import them into the database file. In the .mdb file into which you want to
import them, click File | Get External Data | Import menu. Select the .mdb
file that has the export/import specs in it. Then, when the wizard window
appears, click on the Options button at bottom right of the window. You'll
see a checkbox there for the specs.
