import pst file

I have had to reinstall my os (Win XP) but am unable to import pst archive
files to my Outlook 97.
It shows the files transferring over but there are no entries in tasks or
calendar.

Can anyone help please,

File/Open/Personal Folders File is the way to "import" a .pst file.
