import from XL

I use Office 2000. because I am not fluent in VB i use XL
for analysis and formulas. i would export an access table
to XL, work on it, and re-import to access. this time i
couldn't re-import a spreadsheet to access. i keep
receiving " an error occured trying to import file" and a
list of import errors with " Type conversion Failure ,
Field F10, 21 rows from 4 to 25", No field is named F10.
I deleted the 10th column in the speadsheet, the problem
did not go away. I tried many possibilities, without
success. can anybody helps.

Try copying and pasting the data to a new workbook.
(Access likes perfectly "rectangular" data.)
The old Excel sheet may have invisible stuff that Access can see and you
can't.
