Import/export data from Excel into MS Project

Hi all,

could someone have an idea, how to export data from MS project 2000
into excel , and how to import (load) data from excel into MS Project?

Do I have to create absolutely a Access/ database for it ?


I would appretiate your help.

An Access newsgroup is unlikely to be the best place to find people who
know about using Project and Excel *without Access*. Ask in a Project
newsgroup.

is it possible to manipulate it with access as well,
could you please tell me if access can import data from MS project and
make some calculations, earn value, planned value?

I know that it's possible (using VBA and Automation) but I don't know
the details. I'd start by searching the web and groups.google.com for
"automating powerpoint"
