Import/ Excel column in Access 2000 db

hi,
i need to import a column from an excel file into a temp table run a select
query and export the result in the same excel file different sheet ofcourse :)

need a quick and the easiest solution.

i was able to get the query output using "outputto" into another Excel file.
but still not able to import data from sheet1 and get query result on sheet2

Use TransferSpreadsheet to export the data. Use the original filename as the
Filename argument (include the path with the filename). The name of the
query or table being exported will be used as the name of the worksheet to
which the data are exported.
