Import DNS - upgrd to W2k from Nt4 domain

G

Guest

I did my upgrade of my PDC -NT4 to W2
My Q: is my DNS server in NT4 was/is on a different server NT
during the W2K upgrade I loaded W2K DNS..
I would like to load my zone from my existing DNS (rather then retyping ALL the entries
the idea is to have the W2K AD-PDC also do the DN

Anybody give me a clue her

the W2K DNS appears to have the records in AD/Reg, I can not change DNS to look to a file as it complains there are AD entires... (tried this per the O'Reilly book
I can not seem to find any import featur

Will I have to re-key all this manually

thank

Try this tool:

Dean Wells' DNSDump:
http://www.reskit.net/DNS/dnsdump.cm_

(note there's an underscore at the end of the URL).
