import contacts in outlook with business contact manager

I am having an install related problem with Outlook 2007 (with Business
Contact Manager) running on Vista Ultimate. I have attempted to contact Dell
support, and they wanted to charge me 250 for an install matter!

Briefly put I cannot access my contacts via the address book functionality
of Outlook. I can otherwise use contact, and business contact functionality.
I cannot look up addresses from the to, CC, or BCC buttons.

The problem appears to stem from the import of files and settings on the new
install. The old version was full outlook running on XP Pro. Help addresses
the problem in two stages.

It first suggests editing the properties field of the contact folder to
allow it to show up in the address book, but notes that the field may be
greyed out and inaccessible, as was the case. The second step they recommend
is to delete the current address book and recreate another one. However the
delete command is greyed out here too!

You may need to create a new mail profile from scratch, taking care to add the Outlook Address Book service, as well as email accounts and your BCM database .
