Import contacts from Office 2007 to Office 2003

iiI have some contacts in Office 2007 on one machine whch I wish to copy to
Office 2003 on another machine. I exported them to a file on my desktop and
copied on a USB stick to the second machine. The 2003 Outlook on the second
machine does not recognise the files to import when I point to them on the
desktop

Any ideas?

Only the same one posted here daily. You never export and import to transfer
Outlook data. You have provided one of the many reasons why. You copy your
Outlook data file and open it in another installation.
