Our company used to work with Exchange Client software and we used PAB-
files for adressbooks. Now we are moving to Outlook 2003 and we want to
import the users PAB-files into Contacts. Is there a way to do this
automaticly using a VB or VBA program?
After importing we want to add the Outlook-Adressbook, can this be done
automaticly also?
I know how to show the folder as Outlook Address Book, but that is only the
last step and there is a lot of manual work to do.

You can automate this with a .prf file created with the Custom Installation
Wizard or Custom Maintenance Wizard in the Office Resource Kit.

We did use a prf file. It sets the servername and username correct, but
nothing happens with the PAB file or Outlook Addressbook.
I have added services 2 and 3 to the section [Service List]:

Service2=Outlook Address Book
Service3=Personal Address Book

And I have added these sections:
[Service2]

[Service3]
NameOfPAB="Persoonlijk Adresboek"
Path="%HOMESHARE%\adressen.pab"
ShowNamesBy=1

According to the PRF Whitepaper there is nothing to add to the Outlook
service. In the PAB service I used the Dutch name for NameOfPAB and the
location for the file in our network.
Why doesn't this work?
