Hi,
I've used Outlook for years and now using Outloo 2003. I've always used
several POP mail accounts in combination with an Exchange mail account.
However, I want to add an IMAP account and slowly switch the POP accounts to
this protocol as it seems better. At the moment, I have set up the new IMAP
account and new mail downloads perfectly fine. However, I'm having a problem
creating folders in this account. If I try to Tools and select IMAP Folders,
a message comes up and says "The connection to the server is unavailable.
Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."
I believe I am connected to the internet as that's how my new mails are
downloading. Could it be that cuz I also have an Exchange account and
technically offline from Exchange server, Outlook thinks it's offline? Is
there a way around this? I have also created several folders directly at my
IMAP hosted mail server so presume that somehow I should be able to download
all this to my Outlook.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy
