IMAP 2 gig limit

We've been using Outlook Express to access a mail server running Exchange 5.5
to access IMAP folders. We recently converted one user to Outlook 2003. After
using the IMAP folders for a few weeks, they are now hitting a 2 gig limit on
the size of the IMAP .pst file. It says we should convert the file from
Outlook '97 format to Outlook 2003 format, but we're already using Outlook
2003.

Has anyone seen this before? If so, were you able to correct it?

IMAP can only use the ANSI format pst which has a limit of 2GB. Why are you
using IMAP and not the native exchange mailbox?
