Images not showing up in power point presentation sent in email

I'm having trouble when I send a power point presentation through email. It's
not showing the images I have put in? I have tired sending it to another
person in the office and that is when we realized that the images were not
showing up. What can I do to show the images when sent in an email?

Which version of PowerPoint is the recipient using?
Does it have the latest Service Packs applied?
What format are the original pictures in?
How did you insert them into PowerPoint?
