Wayne, thank you for your reply.
As a new user of Access (the version I am using is 2003), I'm afraid that I
need to ask you to give me a long-hand explanation. Can I explain what I did
so that you could point out my mistakes or missing actions, etc.?
My purpose was to link pictures. In a "datasheet view" table, I linked some
pictures to the relevant fields (by inserting Objects - this click-opened "MS
Access window" where I chose "Adobe Photoshop Image" as "Object Type" and
"linked" the pictures). Then by using "Auto Form" I created forms based on
the data in the table. In the created forms, however, no pictrures were
shown, only the descriptions of pictures, e.g. "abc. jpg". (When I
double-clicked inside the frames of the pictures where their descriptions
appeared, the pictures were displayed by some graphics software.)
Also I tried to DESELECT "link" in "MS Access window" (as described aboev)
so that copies of the source pictures would be embedeed in the datasheet.
But the situation in the created forms was the same, i.e. no pictures, only
the picture descriptions.
I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance.
