ImageMixer mpg files

Anyone know the trick to getting mpg files copied from a Sony cam using
ImageMixer to import into Movie Maker. Apparently they play OK in Media
Player. They just down import right (upside down video, grayed-out video).
This is true even with "Download codecs automatically" selected.

I have the same problem that I posted yesterday. If you know the answer let
me know too. Here is one way to overcome the peroblem: In ImageMixer locate
where the clips are stored (either in Capture, Convert folders but more
likely in one of the albums like Videos). Right click and export file to My
Documents My Videos folder as a DV/AVI movie. Now you can import this new
file and it will work.
