image in sig not showing in reply to html message

I have an autosignature with an image, when I reply to a message that had
html format, the image does not show up in the signature. It does show up
when replying to messages sent in rich text. I thought the image would show
up in rich text or html.

What version of Outlook are you using? Does it work when creating a new
message?
