Well, after quite a few months with computer overheating problems....there is a light at the of the tunnle.

I've just upgraded my CPU (my brother's cast off!), and will be fitting a new CPU fan over the weekend.....which should mean.....fingers crossed....I can get crunching again!

So Pika, fan ordered, should arrive friday, get round and get it in, so I can crunch again!!!!!!

Great news BigJay.
I had a problem with over heating recently, gave the inside of the pc a good clean out.
Got rid of about 2 inches of dust on the HSF, temps now nicely down.

Not sure why my old processer started overheating.....just old age I guess!

I tried to use my old CPU fan with my newer CPU, but it's just not up to the job, and was overheating just playing COD2.

But have ordered a new Artic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro and Silver Compond, and these two, all being well, should do the job!

Crunch, crunch, crunch........
