I'm having trouble creating an email distribution list in Outlook

I get the names and email adresses in the list, but then when I select the
group name the addresses for the members do not appear. Consequence: Cannot
send the message to anyone!

"Cannot send the message". So what actually happens when you *do* try
to send the message in which the distribution list is specified in the
To/Cc/Bcc field? Does it not send? If so, what is the error?

I am having the same issue. I "select members" for the distribution list.
They show up in the list. I click save. Then when I try to use the list in
the To: line.....I don't get all the emails. It may leave off 2-3. It is
also using a second email for a contact which I did not select during the
initial setup. I have tried deleting the distribution list and redoing
it...several times.....with no luck. It is very frustrating.

If you have Outlook 2003 or 2007 forget about distribution lists - use
Categories instead.
