I'm getting mirrored emails on specific accounts, why?

I have multiple email accounts (doesn't everyone!) and I've set these to move
to a specific folder using the rule created.

Only on certain accounts I receive a mirrored email when downloaded, why??

I've tried deleting these rules and rewriting them, but no matter how many
times I do it they keep coming. One thing I have noticed is that when I
choose the specific account say "Chairman" it stays still I apply rule, then
it reverts to my default account say "Secretary" where other rules stay
relevant. Have I missed a setting somewhere??

It's driving me crazy!

I'd say you don't have the "stop processing more rules" action selected on
the rules.
